Gardner Business Media (GBM) announces January 18-20, 2022 as the new dates for the first edition of the International Expo of Technology and Manufacturing for Latin America (FITMA), with the expectation to provide the safest and most productive experience in international live events.

“We look forward to producing FITMA for the national and international metalworking manufacturing community in Mexico and all of Latin America. We have experienced amazing events in other parts of the world, such as EMO, JIMTOF, IMTS, SIMTOS, TIMTOS, CIMT and IMTEX, and it is about time we have our own major international event for this part of the world.

FITMA will be that forum where manufacturing leaders from Mexico all the way to Argentina, will gather to review the latest technology being offered in the exhibition, the latest production techniques in the International Conference Program and attend Network events during and after show hours.

FITMA will however be unique to the other International events by offering MSC Expo as a co-locating partner.  Never has any other event offered global leading suppliers of technology in one area and a co-locating partner offering Mexican and International Manufacturers to fit someone’s supply chain needs right next door.  This allows for maximum efficiency for leading manufacturers to invest their time to attend,” says Claude Mas, executive director of international business at Gardner Business Media.

Due to the slow roll out of the vaccine in Mexico and other Latin American countries, the organizing committee together with the advisory board, felt the need to postpone the dates to January so everybody can be part of this amazing industry event.

Live events provide a unique experience for attendees. Seeing the technology in motion, connecting with global experts, networking with current and future business partners are all parts of the added value in attending FITMA. “B2B events are very important because of what they mean for the reactivation of the economy and the trickledown effect of increasing jobs. All industries involved in metalworking, require continuity to keep growing their business and their skills and thus leading economic development and stability to not only Mexico but all the Latin American region. FITMA represents this great space where industry professionals would get together to currently help manage and create future business,” says Arturo Morales, event and marketing director at Gardner Business Media.

Manufacturing Supply Chain Expo (MSC Expo), the co-located event with FITMA, will follow the dates to make the whole event a one-stop shopping effect for manufacturers. FITMA, putting on display the international technology from global leading suppliers and knowledge of manufacturing more efficiently from groundbreaking experts, to MSC Expo, where one can review their options on how to better support their supply chain needs.

FITMA and MSC Expo looks forward to greeting you all on Jan 18-20, 2022 at Centro Citibanamex, Mexico City, Mexico. Once you have experienced FITMA and MSC Expo it will surely be on your calendar as an important place to be and to be seen.
